01 May 2012 / Comments Off / in Editorial/by Editor

Justice for Men Convicted of ‘Gross Indecency’.

The Protection of Freedoms Act allows men convicted of gross indecency before 1967 to have their criminal record erased.

“The law is a victory for the groups who have for years lobbied for such a law. It is also a testament to the work of Stonewall, representatives of whom gave evidence to the Public Bill Committee on 24 March 2011.”

The Threat That Will Sink America! Run, quick!

The disturbed folks at Truth That Transforms are convinced that the Homosexual Agenda is the iceberg that will sink America.

“The leading actors of this production are so paranoid that they would be better off in an institution on a cocktail of prescription drugs, not out in public spreading lies and disinformation.”

The Nature of the Debate after Starbucks declares support.

In the wake of Starbucks’ support for same-sex marriage, the Huffington Post reports that Apple and Microsoft teamed up to follow, but it turns out to be ‘satire’.

The Strange Case of Sophie Herold

27 Mar 2012 / Comments Off / in Editorial/by Editor

The aftermath of yesterday’s ‘Villains’ article.

The case of Sophie Miriam Herold has taken on a life of its own and raises important questions about how homophobia on the internet can be dealt with.

“The anonymity afforded by the internet makes this situation really difficult to assess and to monitor. Is this one person? Is it an actual 21-year-old woman, as she claims?”
