You typed WHAT?! into Google?

Each Friday Polari shares its favourite WTF?! search terms from the last 7 days.

WTF?! Friday

We have no idea how anyone gets to Polari using some of these search terms!

Here are our 7 favourite, and no so favourite, WTF?! search terms from this week…

#1

naked people on a roller coaster

This is a thing, apparently, that can get you into the record books …

#2

seafarer love making in uk

Why so specific?

#3

cabaret dancer showing her hairy armpit

Because it would not be cabaret if it was shaved, right?

#4

chinese bear band

The bear thing is really taking off, but hairiness is not exactly a Chinese speciality, as we understand it …

#5

death penalty for fags

It’s good to see the bigots are getting a trip to Polari …

#6

pictures of gays and lesbian being beaten up

Polari is clearly turning into What Every Bigot Wants?

#7

you can stare at a carcrash but it would look right back

Logistically no, but seriously, someone typed this into Google?!? WTF?!

The last one is a Gallows lyric, mentioned in my review – maybe someone heard the song and googled the lyrics to find out what it was! I do that all the time!

About Polari Magazine

Polari Magazine is an LGBT arts and culture magazine that explores the subculture by looking at what is important to the people who are in it. It’s about the lives we lead, not the lifestyles we’re supposed to lead.

Its content is informed & insightful, and features a diverse range of writers from every section of the community. Its intent is to help LGBT readers learn about their own heritage and to sustain a link between the present and the past.

Polari is designed to nurture the idea of community, whether that be social and political, or artistic and creative. It is your magazine, whether you want to read it, or whether you want to get involved in it, if you're gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, or queer.

Polari Magazine is all these: it's a gay online magazine; it's a gay and lesbian online magazine; it's an LGBT arts and culture magazine. Ultimately, it is a queer magazine.
